I was browsing the internet when I came across this really great photographers website, his work is amazing, I'm pretty sure he specializes in taking photos of families, couples, and weddings. P.S. Stacie & Geoff got married this past summer, she got engaged to him at 19, & is now 20 and pregnant with their first child. Incredible.

Snow?

Where is the snow??? Two days until Christmas, and no snow in sight!!! It doesn't even feel like Christmas time!! I'm watching 'Love Actually' for the second time this month, and literally the start of the second scene is '5 weeks till Christmas', a shot of London with all it's decorations and Christmasy spirit. Ugh I wish Vancouver was like that! Normally the snow would add to the effect, but not this year I guess. We had a day or two, aaaand that's pretty much it... Hopefully Vancity experiences some kind of Christmas miracle & we get some flurries (at least), on Christmas eve. I'm going to keep praying!!

P.S. ahhh 2 days, only 1 day to get the rest of my shopping done! Wish me luck!

P.S.S Ya snow is important, and so is the gift of giving, but please don't forget what Christmas is really all about. Much love everyone.

Bah, humbug.

I am amazed at how intense people are around the holidays. Working at the mall is making me realize how crazy it really is, it's seriously like a sport. I hate it. I hate that it takes me half an hour to get to a store, only because the shopping centre is infested by the shopping crazies. I hate that almost everything gets stolen. I hate that I take it personally when something gets stolen. I hate that Christmas isn't even about Christ anymore, hence the CHRIST in (christ)mas. Even if those are not your beliefs, Christmas is not supposed to be about expensive things, theft, or a time to be greedy. It's about love, giving, and happiness. I hate that I hate things around Christmas. Long days working at Metrotown Mall can do a lot to a girl. No joke.

Even with all the references to the things I hate around this time of year, there are still so many wonderful things that over power the bad. I just needed to get that out. Hope everyone is well, and shopping with lots of love. God bless & merry ALMOST christmas.

My parents are on my butt at the moment, because it's time to leave for church, and I thought I'd write a post instead! Real quick! I'm so excited for church, I am Christian Orthodox.. but my family has not been to church as a family in about 7ish years! Can't express how happy I am right now. Saturday, praising the Lord... there is nothing better!

Anyway, I GOTTA GO!
